Killa Kustard Lemon Premixed Flavour
A zesty creamy blend of tangy Lemons from Nan's tree mixed with our classic custard. It is built for baking and confectionery as much as for a drink, because the glycerine lets it fold into a mix rather than sit on top of it.
How much do I use?
A premix is diluted with vegetable glycerine, so it is measured by the spoon rather than by the drop. Start with a small spoon in a batch, taste it, and build from there.
The glycerine carries a little sweetness of its own and gives a mouthfeel close to sugar, so a premix sits into a mix rather than sitting on top of it.

When to add it
In a syrup, make a simple or rich syrup and stir the flavour in once it has cooled. Heat drives off the brightest part of a flavour, so nothing goes in while the syrup is still warm.
For baking, treat it like any other liquid flavouring and add it with the wet ingredients.
